Bussia - Winery Alberto Ballarin

Bussia is a historic vineyard in the village of Monforte d’Alba. First Cru of Barolo to be declared together with Rocche di Castiglione in 1961.

The sandy marls, silt and clay that characterize the area contribute to make the wines very fine and highly tannic.

Our Bussia vineyard has an extension of about 1.5 hectares. Its south-west / south-east exposure and its amphitheater conformation allow you to benefit from a microclimate that is particularly favorable to the growth of the vineyards and optimal ripening of the grapes.
